Kūgelis can be referred to as a potato pie and in several other names in abroad. Grated potatoes, precisely diced onions, eggs, milk are seasoned and juicy, belly bacon is put on the top, flavoured with some spices and then oven baked. You can also find other varieties of this dish, like with small or big pieces of chicken file inside or vegetables. Best served with sourcream and a light drink.
Cold beetroot soup (cold pink soup)
